The Barren River Asset Building Coalition offers quality tax preparation services at no cost to low/moderate income taxpayers ($40,ooo per household or less) in Allen, Barren, Edmonson, Green, Hart, and Warren counties. We encourage people to stop throwing away hard earned money on expensive tax preparation and filing fees. We give you the choice to refuse to pay those fees and get back your FULL income tax return because we do the same job, but we do it 100% free of charge! We use e-filing to ensure the quickest possible processing times and can also have your income tax check direct deposited into your checking or savings account.
In addition to providing free tax prep, we also give each of our customers a packet of information on existing financial opportunities that they may be qualified to receive.

We are able to offer these services to the public through a community partnership with the Kentucky Asset Success Initiative, local businesses and non-profit organizations, and the Internal Revenue Service.
